Referral Fees

Referral Fees

A referral fee is any commission, payment, fee or other reward we receive from other companies in return for recommending their services to you. We believe you should know how much we stand to receive each time we make a referral and whether these companies are connected to us. This way, you can make an informed decision whether to use them or use a company of your own choice. You can find out more about our fees at www.horts.co.uk

Conveyancing

We recommend sellers and/ or potential buyers use conveyancers from our approved panel. We are not connected to any of the firms, and we do not hold any interest in their companies. We do, however, receive a commission from both the sale and purchase side of a transaction. This is typically £200 - £250. Our current approved panel is Key Conveyancing LLP, Simply Conveyancing Property Lawyers Limited and Franklins Solicitors LLP.

Mortgage and Financial Services

We recommend sellers and/or potential buyers arrange their mortgage through our recommended panel. We are not connected to any of the firms, and we do not hold any interest in their companies. We do, however, receive a commission on the completion of each mortgage. This is typically £150. You may be sold other protection products by these companies to which Horts Estate Agents does not receive any commission. Our current approved panel is Derngate Wealth Management and Matt Clarke Mortgage Services.
